Yes. Pads, rotors, and most caliper work need a jack, stands, and hand tools — not a shop lift. We do complete brake jobs on a reasonably level driveway or parking spot and road-test the vehicle before we leave. If your driveway is too steep to work safely — a real thing in Asheville — we'll find level ground nearby.
Do mountain roads really wear brakes faster?
